Ploony Cottage

This charming, warm and comfortable cottage sits with one neighbour in an idyllic, secluded setting, safely away from roads, amidst working farmland. The spectacular Elan Valley, with its stunning reservoirs and mountain biking, bird watching and superb walks are among the area’s myriad of attractions, including the Brecon Beacons and Offa’s Dyke Path. The historic market town of Rhayader (7 miles), Presteigne with it Festival of Music and Arts (8 miles), Builth Wells and the Royal Welsh Show, Ludlow and Hay on Wye (famous for its bookshops) are all in easy reach. Riding is available locally. A pub lies at the end of the farm track, 0.7 mile. Shops 5 miles.

Open-plan kitchen/dining room. Sitting room with wood burner. First floor: Double bedroom with 5’ bed. Twin bedded room, zip and link (can be 6’ double by arr). Bunk bedded room. Bathroom/WC (shower over bath).
